Entertaining, insightful and empowering! 🔥
Regardless of where you are in your journey through the healthcare system, Matthew Zachary and this podcast should be required listening! MZ has the incredible and unique ability to make difficult conversations entertaining to listen to, while making the uncomfortable topics fair territory for honest, authentic and insightful exploration from someone who's actually lived it. Can't recommend MZ and Out of Patients enough!
An absolute must-listen!
If you haven’t listened to this podcast yet, do yourself a favor and get on it! So inspiring and refreshing in an industry that feels the opposite typically.
Insightful
MZ always keeps it real & authentic!
Out of Patients Rocks!
Matthew Zachary's personalized interviews with his guests reveals his struggles as a cancer survivor and someone who learned how to navigate the health care system through trial & error. He discusses topics like fertility, the healthcare system, medical breakthroughs and numerous other subjects with intelligence, truth and devotion to honesty. I highly recommend his podcast for people concerned about the healthcare system in general and for his great insights and sense of humor. He makes every guest feel like they know him forever and is a terrific host.
Laugh, learn, don’t miss an episode
Matthew Zachary is the irreverent, informed friend you WISH you could talk with when the U.S. health care system has you screaming (or crying). He knows his stuff and taps into his vast network to bring listeners into conversations that somehow make me learn AND laugh in every episode.
Health Transformation Analyst
I've been behind the scenes posturing and promoting OffScrip Media's passion for patients. Why? Because, as Matthew says "patients are running Out of Patients"! Aren't we all!! As a patient, a care giver for patients, and a healthcare analyst supporting innovators focused on improving patient experience, outcomes, and making health care more affordable, I'm grateful that MZ has taken up the torch to extinguish the parts of the patient experience that need to be burned to the ground and regenerated. You "Grow" Matt!
Fresh, Authentic and Raw
Nothing is off the table with Matthew Zachary when it comes to having real, honest conversations. Love the humor, banter and deep dive he does with all his guests.

Listen!
In this new era we find ourselves navigating through - the one thing we need now more than ever is a resource we can turn to that offers up-to-date, informative, factual and real conversation. Out of Patients provides all of this and more. Thank you Matt for filling this gap.
A welcome dose of irreverence & humor
As a cancer survivor, Matthew lost patience with aspects of our healthcare system long before he stepped up to the microphone and launched this podcast. Fortunately for us, he brings to his audience a bolus of insight, with just the right dose of humor and irreverence.
Something for everyone
This podcast is for anyone dealing with a health condition or anyone who knows someone dealing with a health condition—yes, really for everyone. MZ and Andrew are here to change the world of healthcare on behalf of patients, one podcast at a time. Definitely a must-listen, must-subscribe series for all.
A wonderful resource
Looking past mere medicine to give holistic advice for people dealing with the bewildering world one has to navigate once they are thrust into the alien experience of living with a serious illness.
Not your typical healthcare podcast
Informative, real and entertaining! Can’t wait for more.
Honest & Authentic
Excited to have found Out of Patients, a podcast that isn’t afraid to say what so many of us impatient patients are thinking and feeling. Matthew Zachary is a rock star that transformed the young adult cancer experience. I’m ready to hear more!
Just What I Needed
As someone who has battled cancer, I find these raw chats to be informative and resourceful. This is something that I wish I had when I was undergoing chemotherapy. I find lots of value in what Matthew has to say -- even in remission! SOLID!
Yes!
We need more episodes! Matthew’s different perspective is what is needed in the healthcare world of podcasts to create our own story of triumph 💡
The voice of patient advocacy
Matthew gave voice to millions with The Stupid Cancee Show and now he’s upped his game with this new podcast to make sure we all have a voice - and a laugh - at the same time.
Leveled Up
Solid content for all who are interested in connecting with people who have encountered some sort of diagnosis...all HCPs and Pharma execs should give this a listen!
Medical advice without the stress
Matt is a very calming voice in waters I have hated treading for the many years I’ve been Diabetic. Finally someone discusses the nonsense without the nonsense!
Can’t wait for more episodes
Legendary patient advocate MZ is hitting it out of the park with this new series.
Roll out the welcome for Matt
Here’s the series you didn’t think you needed and soon won’t be able to live without. Matt calls it like it is and that’s a relief. More than ever, we need his point of view of to rip off the band-aids and give voice to the unspoken truths and that need to be heard.
